Montreal Heart Institute (MHI), extension
Ms. Hounida Boukendakdji, M. Arch., President of HB Architecture, was involved as a building consultant specializing in architectural planning and project management for the modernization of the Montreal Heart Institute (ICM).
This large-scale project aimed to enhance the patient experience, optimize circulation flows, and integrate advanced technologies within a warm and human-centered care environment. The expansion and requalification of spaces led to the modernization of care units, connecting corridors, and public areas.
The building, with its clean lines and bright architectural design, highlights transparency, accessibility, and functional performance in a refined and calming setting.
