I am Hounida Boukendakdji, OAQ-certified architect and president of HB Architecture Inc., a forward-thinking and innovative architectural firm serving Montreal and all of Canada. I have over 20 years of experience in architecture, real estate project management, technical planning, and interdisciplinary coordination.
Throughout my career, I have led teams and major projects across institutional, public, educational, residential, and healthcare sectors for prestigious organizations such as HEC Montréal, the CHUM, the Montreal Heart Institute, the City of Montreal, Parc Jean-Drapeau, and the Montreal School Board. These mandates have enabled me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the architectural project lifecycle—from functional and technical programming to permit processes, site supervision, and final delivery.
My expertise allows me to navigate administrative procedures efficiently, often securing building permits.
As president, I personally oversee all services offered by HB Architecture Inc., ensuring consistent decision-making, smooth and direct communication with clients, and exceptional responsiveness at every stage. I work on new construction projects, complete renovations, expansions, space reconfigurations, and compliance upgrades for existing buildings.
My work methodology is based on:
